So I went to a cooking class at this super nice cooking store. The teacher was a pastry chef who worked at my mom's favorite restaurant which is also super nice and expensive. Oh my gosh it was sooo good D: We started off with Ricotta Souffle Pancakes with honey and butter. Then we had Boot Heel Foccacia (the name relates to the style of the bread based on the area in Italy), after that we had a pie with sauteed zuccini, onions, and lemons. Oh! And for desert there was a Lemon Meringue cake (the meringue and lemon curd was part of the batter) served with a light blueberry sauce with apple cider vinegar sauce.
.... Wow, I've watched Food Network too much. But it was soooo delicious. I'm thinking about making the pie tomorrow.

Anyway, while we were driving over to Target to meet up with my sister after the class I was looking at the store's paper to see what other classes they have available. Then I see a class directed by people who work at this bakery up by my sister's school called SugerLand. It is this super adorable and yummy bakery. Their class is all about making cool cupcakes and stuff. Just to add on to it the class lands in the afternoon on my birthday 8DD You kinda had to be there though because my mom and I were having such a blonde moment in the car xD

Went kinda like this:

Me: -reading through classes- -GASP- There's a Suger Land Class!
Mom: Really??? 8DD
Me: YEA -reads description- OMG IT'S ON ME B-DAY
MOM: OMG~

The thing is... that is pretty true to life xD

Yea :3 It is $35 per person and stuff. We thought it would be a good idea to bring people (but you should probably pay for yo' self) to it as a birthday thing. If ya'll (JERTLAC-M) decide you don't wanna go then ya'll can stay home and come over later 'cause I'm going P:

More on the subject of food: My parent's don't like their job and stuff so my mom, sister, and I have been having the joy of fantasizing about owning our own bakery. /If/ we ever do a bakery business it would more than likely be a side thing where we make things at the house and sell them at a farmer's market. Where we would eventually move to our own bakery store. Mom and I already came up with a name for it: "Three Flowers" or "Tres Fleurs." Three Flowers relates to what my step-dad calls the three of us 'cause we look alike. Just wanted to let ya'll know about that 8D

OH. And I've been on a Saiyuki binge lately. Those guys = love. I heard that the person is going to be adding more to the series or something but I don't know.
